Great Place to Ride When The Pass is Open

I usually go to Loveland, but if it's windy I'll go to A-Basin. The part I hate is going over the pass, but once you get there it's all worth while, and the snow stays until springtime - it's often the first mountain to open and one of the last to close.

Pallavicini

The first time I came to Arapahoe Basin (A-Basin), I was stoked by the easy accesible double diamond terrian off the Pallavicini Lift (Pali). Of course, the ski area is smaller than most of the major resorts in Colorado, but if you're looking for a challenge, not glamour, A-Basin is the place to shred those double diamonds.
