Mount Snow

Obviously comapred to the West this mountain isn't all that great. But when limiting oneself to just the East coast this is one of the 2 or 3 best mountains there is.

There's a wide range of terrain for beginners and intermediates which makes it a great mountain for families, always uncrowded runs here and there, and lots of high-speed lifts -- especially compared to the 1970's.

Snow conditions vary from beautiful powder (occasionally) to hardpack with icy spots (more often).
